Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

really like the look....but i can't seem to find out where to buy it

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

this is the bumper...... not the first pic

POST 3Original post

I agree. That is a nice look. Wish I could help.

POST 4Original post

That is basically a 997 GT3 RS made for the 99-01 996. I found this one on ebay. Hope it helps! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-986-...ht_1603wt_1386

POST 5Original post

Nice looking but they don't say if it is urethane or fiberglass. I would not use urethane. With fiberglass the first time it gets bumped you have problems.

Is that a typo? Not use urethane and fiberglass is fragile. I'm planning some aero kit work in the upcoming year and doing research. I had thought urethane was the way to go for flexibility. But....... thanks for any clarification.

POST 7Original post

Sorry it was a typo. Use urethane/flexible materials for bumpers, like the OEM. Fiberglass is a problem waiting to happen.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

man I'm having no luck finding this. I've googled it to death. tried the eBay thing still nothing.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does this look like the same one of the white 996? http://www.nrauto.com/productsdetail...SBLaXRz&p=MA==

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Think I just found it http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/x...1-p-58989.html

POST 12Original post

Wait a minute....the picture used on the vivid site is the same as the eBay pic....is it the same part I wonder?

POST 13Original post

Looks like this bumper on vivid racing: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/2...1-p-58989.html Xtreme Motorcars 997 GT3 Style Front Bumper Porsche 996 Carrera 99-01 Looks a little different than the NR Designs one, but is almost twice the price. I think it actually flows with the lines of the car more... looks almost factory in some of the pictures.
