Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yesterday, when making a sharp left turn, I heard (or more accurately, felt) a small "clunk" in the front end of the car. It only makes the sound when turning left, and it's repeatable. Right turns, bumps, starts, and stops are no problem. It sounds like it's coming from the left front of the car. I don't know much about suspensions. What should I check first? It's a '99 C2 Cabriolet. Thanks.

POST 4Original post

Trying going over a speedbump crooked, left front wheel first. If it clunks then but not if you drive over a speedbump straight with both wheels at the same time, I would put my money on the swaybar droplinks to be sure.
