Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace their marketing' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace their marketing' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Called them for front mats for
My 2001 996 coup
Clerk said they only have mats for model 997 for the 2001 year
WTF ?? He would not believe me , that 997's were later years
Anyone know if they are same size??
Any experiences with weather tech ?
Thsnks
I have had a set of front Weather Tech mats in my 2003 996 C2 Cab e/w Bose for ~4 years. Evidently the rears are different if the car is equipped with Bose?
Not sure why they insist that 997s were made in 2001???
These are the type that I have. I bought them even though it says for 997 no Bose equipped. I figured I could always trim them if needed, I did not have to. YMMV

Consider a custom set of coco mats to match your interior from

. These are made by a small company in SC with specific, perfect fit patterns for each different car. Each set is custom made to order - and they cost less than factory mats!
I have gotten literally dozens of compliments on mine from other PCA members. Black with red dots, they really improve the black interior. And after two years they still look great. Dirt and sand fall down into the fiber so the mats always look clean. When I wash the car I just shake them out.
WeatherTech is awesome. I had a set in my H1 and they survived hell.
My dad used a set through two Denali's and put it in his new Tahoe. After about 200k miles the wear under the throttle pedal warranted a new mat. So now he has the "floor liner" which seems even stronger.
Sounds like they need to change their marketing. lol
Bose has nothing to do with the floor, unless there's a sub under one of the seats and the mats go under the seats.
