Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that report identifying a cause

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Reported cause
I don't like the new redesign that much, but the 911/50th anniversary issue is a must-buy for any Porsche owner.
Leading evidence: 'must-buy' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'must-buy' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Don't usually pick this up but the June edition is almost entirely dedicated to the 50 year history of 911's and has a lot of very interesting articles ranging from a head to head race comparison of 934 vs. 935 to a good review of the 2014 GT3 and lot's in between!
Pete
As long as R&T has Peter Egan it is always worth reading.

R&T played a big role in me becoming a true car guy and I've been a loyal subscriber since May 1983, but the redesign starting with the last issue really pained me! There was even a food review in there. Seriously?! Peter Egan has always played a huge role in my publication devotion, but even his column in that 1st issue wasn't one of his best. Perhaps it reflected his feelings about the redesign as well. I guess I'll have to stick with Excellence and Sports Car Market magazines!
I have to agree. The redesign seems to be an attempt to follow a web design format, making it somewhat haphazard in print form. But as long as they have Egan I will subscribe.
As for other magazines, if you are not a PCA member you are missing the revival of Panorama under new editor Pete Stout - who previously helmed Excellence. IMO Excellence is slipping without him. His first few issues of Panorama show great promise. Much better layout and photography, along with the sort of slightly longer and more detailed articles that made Excellence so good.
