Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Help!! I've got 02 C2 with the manual seats. My dad gave me his 01 TT electric seats (no lumber). I knew this when I ordered the car, so I cheaped out! What I'd like to do is swap the manual for the electric seats. My question: The 01 TT seat has an electric package mounted under the front edge with a number of empty connectors. I can't tell from looking where I'd plug in the connector from the 02 C2. Can I even do this?? The 02 C2 has an electric package that is mounted on the floor board as oppossed to the seat. Will the connector for the seat be readily apparent? Can they be swapped? I know about not even thinking about putting power to the car while these items are being adjusted (read air bag deployment, or at least the light coming on), but I am at a loss as to whether this connection can even be made. Is there an expert out there who could "give me knowledge"?

POST 2Original post

I'd say strip as much as you can from your Dad's TT.....Have you thought about then entering it in a demolition derby?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

He's 79 and set his car up for the track the day he got it! I get the seats 'cause he put racing buckets and a roll cage in the TT. I told him I'd take the motor and some of the brake and suspension parts... He said he think about it, but not for that long. I'm still waiting for his answer.
