Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. For golf clubs or a larger bag, I use the front seat.

the backrests are pretty much vertical, so you may want to test fit a toddler seat first.

Suggestion
I've used the back seat in an emergency, but I would't want a passenger back there to have to ride for a long distance.

Recently had 2 pair of skis, ski bag, boot bag, and overnight bag and didn't even use the front trunk.

Looks like i'll have to use the wife's car to get to hockey.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

First post, been lurking for quite some time and looking to buy my first p-car. It's gonna be my daily driver but am curious on what i can fit in the 911.
1. Golf Clubs?
2. Hockey Bag full of Gear (What if i was to get a 997 Targa?)
3. Car seat for a toddler in the rear?
Any Ideas?
golf clubs would fit on the passenger side.
I quite often throw my kids (10 year old girl and 4 year old boy) in the back and my wife in the passenger seat and drive around. So far so good.
Welcome. Are you looking for a coupe or cab? Either way, if the back seats fold down you can definitely fit a gear bag if you secure all the compartments. A golf bag needs to sit a bit upright, so you may need to prop it with something. In a cab with the top down, getting to the back seats is a breeze.
Like rxjohn stated, one or two young kids ( in my case 9 and 6) can sit for short rides in the back. the backrests are pretty much vertical, so you may want to test fit a toddler seat first.
protect the seats and you should be fine.
If your going out for a cruise or date, it's best to have the car nice, clean and empty of any clutter.

I was chatting with the guy who sold me my C4 recently about differences between the 996 and his new 997. One thing he noticed was that the door pockets on the 996 were much larger. As he described it, his pistol fit in its holster in the door on the 996, but on the 997 he has to just keep his gun in there with no holster.
FYI, another perk of 996 ownership.
In the "frunk" you can fit a standard TSA approved carry-on bag, and nothing else. My bag is 22x14x9, and it fits in as if it were custom luggage. Mine is a C4S, so the spare tire is underneath and the front differential invades into the space. I'm not sure how different it is in a C2.
For golf clubs or a larger bag, I use the front seat. I can't see my hockey bag fitting in the car anywhere, or a hockey stick for that matter. A targa makes the access a little easier, but it doesn't add any space. I recommend getting a Carrera and a Cayenne for the times you need to play hockey!
I've used the back seat in an emergency, but I would't want a passenger back there to have to ride for a long distance. BTW - my car is a coupe, not a cab.
In my cab I carry the golf clubs in the front seat - it won't fit cross-wise in the back seat with my driver and stand-up putter still in the bag. But two softball bat bags fit back there rather nicely, as does two roll-aboard pieces of luggage (plus one in the frunk) and a cooler in between (for the impromptu trip to Vegas).

LOL, Yes but then the locks would be changed at my house when I got there.
I wondered if I made a mistake when I jumped for the 996. My RC model airplanes fit in the 928. It will fit in the 911, But it would have to be more in kit form than ready to fly.
i fit my hockey bag, used to be 40", now a 36" bag with full gear and 2 hockey sticks along the side between passenger seat and door. this is in addition to the 2 kids seats i have in the back
I have had some serious luggage in mine, months and months worth (when i picked mine up i was heading to LA for the winter, had a ton of stuff with me)
Thanks for all the advice. Looks like i'll have to use the wife's car to get to hockey. I'm looking for coupe. Next decision will be a 996 or a 997.
Oh, which car seats would fit in the back for the 2 yr old?
The 996 also has some nice little hidden roof rack clips that flip up, but I'm not really aware of what racks fit.
I stashed several Christmas gifts in my trunk, nobody would ever look there, ha.
I use some kind of Britta carseat, the narrow ones fit better.
Recently had 2 pair of skis, ski bag, boot bag, and overnight bag and didn't even use the front trunk. I only moved the passenger seat back all the way in the reclining position and had lots of room.

i have recaro vivo's in the backseat. they are good for toddlers who are big enough to sit facing forwards 30lbs and up. tight fit, but works and even when kids are old enough to buckle, you probably have to help them given the fit.
how big is your hockey gear? goalie? should fit. mine does.
I was pretty proud of the tetris-job I pulled with my cab last summer: I was able to fit the wife, canopy, tent, 2 camping chairs, cooler, ground rolls & sleeping bags in cab last summer. The pic is from Osh Kosh for all you fellow pilots & aviation enthusiasts.
I have some park fliers, and they fit in the passenger seat just fine.
I let my kids start sitting in the back at 3 with a booster seat.
Why, the Porsche techquipment rack, of course!

I can place my golf bag, push cart in the back, it has plenty of room for those two items, but I do lay out a blanket across the back to protect the leather behind the seats.
When I boutght my 996, I had made sure it will fit my golf bag and clubs. No problem in the back seat. I once witness a guy put a pair of 225/40/18 and a pair of 285/30/18 tires in a 996 targa.
We used to joke and say "two adults and two shopping bags." It's actually much better than that. Go check them out before you jump. Bring your hockey bag and clubs.
A 32 inch flat screen TV - in the box, and luggage for two for a week. The wife and I drove from So. Cal to UC Davis near Scaramento to drop off the TV, no issues with visibility etc.
