Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Tan is an easy color to live with if you are prepared to clean the seats often.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I suppose that it would depend on how the car is used. If it is a daily driver then it will show dirt and wear just like any other car. If it is not a daily driver thenit will just take longer to show dirt. All interior colors will show dirt eventualy, it just depends on use.
Now my 99 model which is garage kept and not a daily driver has shown very little dirt over time. Now my daily driver 2001 Expedition with the tan interior shows a lot of dirt.
YMMV
I do not know about Savanna Beige, but my '02 CL has Java, which is MB's tan/beige leather, not terribly from their new Sand leather for the SL. I have about 10,000 miles on the car since September and it requires a lot of attention to keep the driver's seat from looking soiled. I use the Meguire's leather treatment that I got at the MB dealer to clean/condition the seats. Tan is an easy color to live with if you are prepared to clean the seats often. BTW, if it gets really soiled, the discoloration may remain after cleaning with Meguire's. I have not used stronger cleaners or solvents for fear of ruining the leather. Of course, all leather seats get soiled, some colors just show it more.
It's a great color but requires alot of maintenace to keep it in good condition. Even with meticulous attention it can never look brand new but looks great when new : ). I almost got a savanna beige interior but with a child and it's a daily driver(love driving the darn thing over my ML320)- black interior was the way to go for me. It's a personal choice. Regards. Mike
I have it in my '99 996 Cab, and it DOES NOT require a lot of maintenance. In fact, I have supple full leather seats, and they look as new today as when I bought it.
I use Lexol cleaner once in a while, and Lexol conditioner about 3 times/year. The trick is applying it. First you can wipe down the leather with a warm wet cloth (no soap needed). Assuming the leather is not marked up, just wipe it down and let dry.
Then take Lexol conditioner in the liquid form (not spray) and pour some in your cupped hand. Rub your hands together then massage it into the leather, into every spot. Let it sit about 5 minutes, then buff it out with a clean, 100% cotton cloth.
I let it sit a day or so before driving it, and whatever residue remains seems to diminish.
But from my perspective (I have an S500 Benz with light gray top line leather and a Chrysler minivan with tan leather), the Savanna Beige is very easy to keep.
If you eat in the car, or drive with shorts and sunscreen on, or drop open ink pens on leather a lot, get a darker color!
Agree with Eric.
I got also savanna beige,
very easy to maintain, i use the Tequipment products from Porsche. No problem. <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />
