Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

996FLT6,
The only problem with tracking a 6 speed car would be that I would blow by you like you were going in reverse. Now if you used your Porsche then its a different story.....

i had a mb c32 amg that blew an engine at 9200 mi before i got my c4s. this appears to be less common with c32 than with the new m3 but was totally disheartening to me. i'm happy i traded the c32 in for my c4s. i'd almost forgotten how much fun a good stickshift is!
Hey John had you tracked against a E46 m3? Aren't Porsche's great! Perfect blend between street/track and durable as well. Never had problems on the track( cross my fingers). AMG make fast cars but darn the auto tranny bothers me. Great choice you made on the C4S, Ignacio. Regards. Mike
Hey Sean,
What happened out at TWS on Sat? I heard there was a car on car incident and the track was black flagged for a while. I went out today for a couple of hours just to watch and some mentioned it.

A 996tt rear-ended a red 944 at the end of the back straighaway. Nosed underneath the 944, the turbo's hood was bent up into a roof-peak profile! More of a 'scraping' impact than a solid blow, though; and both drivers were okay. This was in the yellow run group.
Apparently there were one or possibly two cars between the two. The 944 had engine problems, had slowed considerably, and was limping along (I couldn't tell you the exact speed) on the right side of the track approaching 7. The one (or two?) cars between it and the turbo were given passing signals by the 944. The turbo was carrying a lot of speed, suddenly saw a slow car ahead (when the other car(s) passed), and braked for a loooong way before impact.
