I guess you can change the whole front end of the earlier 996 to the '02 turbo look headlights, bumper, fenders, etc.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Porsche is claiming a significant reduction in lift on the 02. Has anyone done the research on how they achieved it and if the changes can be retrofitted to an earlier 996. I assume some of it is the front bumper but there must be more. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Get the latest issue of EXCELLENCE magazine (a silver MY02 996 C2 on cover) will tell you everything. I guess you can change the whole front end of the earlier 996 to the '02 turbo look headlights, bumper, fenders, etc.
