Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Considering flared rocker panels on a new car. Do you like them? Why? Why not?

POST 3Original post

Yes I think they are a must and should be standard on the car. Gert from www.carnewal.com sells them.

POST 4Original post

Love 'em. The 911 looks good plain, but even better with side skirts. I'd suggest you go with stock Porsche units. Their engineers did extensive aero testing so you know they tie in well. I also don't think any of the aftermarket stuff quite compares IMHO.

POST 5Original post

I agree. The car looks "undressed" wihout side skirts.

POST 6Original post

with rockers and without rockers. You need them! [pic]http://www.986host.com/albums/doncapecod/02_Cab_left_front.sized.jpg[/pic] [pic]http://www.986host.com/albums/doncapecod/996_Cab.sized.jpg[/pic]

POST 7Original post

I agree. The side profile of the 996 looks sportier with the side rockers and even nicer with the rear GT fins.
