This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are they bolted on by screws or glueed on? Be nice to be able to remove without any trouble ie bavk to stock look without damage. Regards. Mike

POST 2Original post

Hi Mike, hope all is well with all your mods. Are you talking about the flares that go over the rocker panels (under the doors) or the little "wings" that go behind the rear wheels?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm taking underneath th doors not the flaps on the rear bumper. Your car is going to be awesome with that Ruf kit. Regards. Mike

POST 4Original post

Well looking at the RUF kit, looks like the side skirts bolt on in the wheel arch areas and a couple of places underneath the car. I think I see about 4-5 bolt areas. The kit also included some silicon type stuff that might be used to help secure it. I will let you know if you are interested once the kit goes on. Not sure if other kits are stick on. The guy who is going to do the install for me (Porsche mechanic) said they were very easy to install so even if it's a bolt-on, I am sure you can remove quickly without damage. I am also super excited about the kit. Just got the parts painted from the bodyshop today and it looks awesome and it's not even installed yet!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Once its done you gotta show pics and all. My blood will boil when I see them. It'll be all your fault if I do another mod : ). Regards. Mike

POST 6Original post

Mike, Sent you via email the installation instructions. Loren (99 996)

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Loren for the email but for whatever reason it doesn't read out well like there encrypted on some parts. Does it contain pics as well becuase I can't see that too? Where in the Bay area are you? Have you done Thunderhill at all? I'll be going on May 5th and June 1st. Be great to see other Rennlister's out there. Regards.Mike

POST 8Original post

Mike, The problem must be your AOL email. I've sent the same instructions to 2 o 3 folks and not had problems. Perhaps I can put them in a PDF and send them on as an attachement? I live in Morgan Hill (south of San Jose). My closest track track is Laguna Seca (about 30 min) Haven't been to Thunderhill and likely won't take much more track time until I get my ROW 030 suspension in and aligned. I might drive down to watch one of those dates... if so I'll look you up. Loren (99 996)
