Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Really great article on the 996....."The 996 revisited"....The Affordable modern 911. Buyer's guide is great. Could help our car values....they mention that a lot of the depreciation was caused by over production (duh) and a lot of unwarranted bashing on the web regarding engine issues. Glad to finally see a positive article on our cars.

POST 2Original post

Yes, read that article last month. total 911 still seems to view our 996s with disdain compared to the 993s and 964s, but that happens all the time with Porsches evolution process concerning the 911. As long as we cherish our water pumpers...who cares about the opinions of others?

With that said, I can say also that everything I have seen about the cars has been good. Still waiting for mine to get here from UT. So all I have it the web to read and watch videos. Everyone that has "test drove" the cars loved it.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
