Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know that PIAA makes various bulbs with colors like super white etc. that would be close to that of the xenon headlights. Has anybody changed their fogs to one of these bulbs without altering the harnesses? Someone recommended the H3 series.

POST 2Original post

Discussed over on funcars turbo board today. GreggT

POST 3Original post

I put in a pair of Hiper H3 80=100w H.I. White bulbs from Auto Bulb Depo. They match my HID lights well but are not significantly brighter than the stock 55W H3's. Price was right, 12$ each.

POST 4Original post

I switched mine to Heliolite "gold/yellow", here in Seattle we sometimes actually need FUNCTIONAL fog lights. Whiter fog lights will not work well in actaul foggy or misty conditions.

POST 5Original post

PIAA 4150k H3 Not DOT approved. Discussed on the turboboard.
