This is not a probability of success.

Second, since that part is constantly flexing in and out, even a urethane type "flexible" paint, ala what is used on the front and rear bumbers wouldn't be able to keep up with the constant motion of the bellows.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wondering is it paintable on the rubber cover underneath the rear wing when activated up. Thanks in advance. Mike

POST 2Original post

I'm hardly an expert on this, but painting the rubber "bellows" that protects the engine while the rear spoiler is raised, sounds like a bad idea. First of all, rubber doesn't take to paint very well due to it's composition. Second, since that part is constantly flexing in and out, even a urethane type "flexible" paint, ala what is used on the front and rear bumbers wouldn't be able to keep up with the constant motion of the bellows. Just curious, why would you want to paint it anyway?
