Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

While adjusting tire pressure tonight I noticed that each of my tires have 2-4 TWI (tire wear indicator) marks showing. None are adjacent, and the manual states to replace when there are two adjacent indicators. I have about 5,000 miles on the rear and 14,500 on the front, all Conti's. Hoping to replace them with P-Zero's, but I'm wondering if a roughly 350 mi. roundtrip vacation on Thursday would be a bad idea. Thanks for any advice. Mike 01 C4

POST 2Original post

Replace your tires when the wear bars are even with the rest of the tread or soon thereafter.

POST 3Original post

Viken's advice is second to none. If you want better wear on your tires, stay away from the P-Zero's. I've had much better luck with the Michelin Pilot Sport.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm thinking Bridgestone SO-2's and have no experience with them, but they sound like a good medium. Won't get that thread going again, though. Thanks for the help, guys Mike 01 C4

POST 5Original post

here's the information about the new S03 bridgestone. I picked up this one in the Geneva's internatoinal car saloon. It seems to be one of the best tires. <img src="graemlins/wave.gif" border="0" alt="[byebye]" />
