Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone had trouble installing the Tequipment bar in their car? I?ve a MY99 and have been having one heck of a time trying to get the bar seated in it?s proper location. Almost seems too tall. I?ve purchased it used and there is no installation advice available. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks, Keith Stockton

Hello, yes I installed the tequipment unit that also had the cross bracing. The bar must be placed into the car leaning forward and then rotated back. If you are doing this right, the very top of the bar will be practically ripping the rear view mirror off. It will sneak by but I recommed that if you can have someone help "coax" the mirror a bit you will greatly reduce the chance of it actually snapping off. Good luck.
