Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Good evening all. Just thought I share a pic of my new toy. I just picked up a 2000 996 with only 13k miles on it. Yes I know the risks, but I love the looks of the 996 with the aerokit. The PPI checked out fine. I'll probably still take it to my mechanic for a double check.... but right now, after a fresh wash and the evening sun casting glowing rays from the sun set.... this has to be one of the best designs Porsche has ever penned.

Sharp looking job for sure and welcome. Love the pumkins. Park it as far away from the Supermarket doors as you can . The walk will do you good. Be careful that you don't walk into another car as you are looking back at yours LOL.
I bought my 2000 996 with just under 20K miles on her in March of 2011.
It looks much better when you change out the pumpkins with clears!
I still find myself standing in the garage staring at the most beautiful car in the world!
Welcome....I continue to take the long way every time I drives my P-Car. It's funny, after a few weeks/months you will start personalizing this special car to give it your own identity. Enjoy
Seriously, I feel sorta sorry for these people that sat on the 996 cars maybe anticipating that they might be a highly collectable car or rise in value. Driving a ittle over 1k+ miles/yr is sorta nuts if you think about it only to take a big loss in selling it 12 years down the line. Sellers loss but a big win for buyers. Congrats on the purchase regardless!
Congrats! I love low-mile cars like mine! Sure, they should have been driven more, but YOU can fix that, and still have low miles if/when you sell.
What does the interior look like? Full leather? Must smell new with such low miles?
Congrats on your purchase, looks like you found a gem there. I would also consider switching out side markers to the
Clear Euro Side Markers
. Enjoy that is truly a great looking car, hopefully you got some sleep last night.
AndyK - The interior is in like new condition. Leather and dash is all great. There is a small heal scuff on the hood-pull-latch. But that just means I get my first project on the car.
ESC - The clear turn signals are a nice touch. Looks a little cleaner.
Congrats, the car looks awesome...enjoy.
I wouldn't worry too much about fixing the scuffs on the trunk release lever, you'll just end up putting new marks on it anyway.
I also have shoe marks on that panel. Not sure if it's easily replaced though. I know I wouldn't scuff it up like that - I LIFT my feet over it when getting in and out.
A bit faster than your 951, right??
AndyK - The 951 is a sleeper. It has a Vitesse chip, K&N air intake and a 3" Fabspeed exhaust with cat-by-pass. I have not dyno'd it but the mechanic is estimating 285+ range. I just know it has enough torque to spin the tires in 2nd @ 35 mph if I'm not carful. The rush is addictive.
I have not got on it yet with the 996 yet. The power delivery does feel much more linear - but there is plenty of it. The fun will be learning its characteristics on the next few miles.
Looks very nice. Have to say the amber side repeaters look great against the midnight blue. Who are these people not driving these Incredible cars? That kind of mileage is spot on, someone broke it in for you, now you get all the fun.
I don't know... I like the side markers orange with the blue car. Anymore, the pumpkins separate you from all the other switcheroo guys (inc. me) and looks nice and stock.
Yes 'the Porsche Guy' having 2 will be fun. Thank goodness for high ceilings and man's brilliant idea to create a lift. When it is all installed I'll take a pic for you.
The kids named the 951 'Red Racer'. I'll have to wait to see what they decide to call the new car.
Congrats on the new car. I don't know where you guys find these cars with mileage that low. When I bought mine there were none with under 50k on them. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
I'll keep the pumpkin lights. I think they look good with the blue car.
Throttle - Yes, I'm starting to put the miles on it. This coming weekend I'm driving it down to the PCA Escape in Eureka Springs, AR. (a.k.a. Palooza). Lots of fine twisty roads in the rolling hills of Arkansas.
