Anyways in case you were wondering my rebuilt 996 engine is still going strong, running perfectly now with about 6k miles on it!

If you read the listing details I explain why, but basically I was troubleshooting rough running problems after an engine rebuild.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey all, PRICE drop 365 for RL.com members and listed on ebay (see further down in this thread for details). Long time no post... I've been really busy and haven't had any time for the forums, but have been lurking every now and then. Anyways in case you were wondering my rebuilt 996 engine is still going strong, running perfectly now with about 6k miles on it! I am selling a FW that I've been storing/leftover from the project, here are the details of the flywheel for sale: https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...free-ship.html Cheers!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's what LuK says, and this was on my 996 for about 500 miles. LuK says it is for all 996 MY 1998-2004 and 997 MY 2005-2008 (until they went to DFI). This includes C2, C4, C4S, Targa, Cab, Coupe.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Must sell, price dropped to $365 incl free ship for RL.com members. Or buy it through ebay, but you'll have to pay more to cover their fees: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170936251668?item=170936251668

Why only 500 miles? I want to replace my AASCO LWF, I'm tired of hearing the rattling.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If you read the listing details I explain why, but basically I was troubleshooting rough running problems after an engine rebuild. I pulled the new FW and the problems persisted, so I looked elsewhere. The FW for sale is basically new and I see no reason why it wouldn't last 100k. Read the link in the first post for more info. Thanks!
