Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know I can google etc.. but I think this might provide most updated results out there. My mechanic is doing my LM IMS bearing replacement and clutch and AOS. I am looking for a good step by step instructions with pictures that can be printed out and referenced. I know there are couple versions out but can someone link me to the one they think would be the best for this. Nice big pictures, detailed etc... Thank you I have 99 996 Cab I am assuming its double bearing.

POST 3Original post

Good luck. But I have to say I'd rather have someone that has experience doing these. I wouldn't want my car to be someone's first!

POST 4Original post

POST 6Original post

Don't understand whats going on. Are you miicromanging your mechanic or has he told you he doesn't know what to do? If the latter, find another mechanic. If you want know the procedure, go the the LN website, the procedure is very clear.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
