Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My drivers side window won't drop down the full 1/2" it needs to when opened so when I close it, it gets stuck on the outside of the sill. I just had the regulator replaced and it functions as it should, just not dropping enough. Is there an easy way to adjust this? I'd rather not take the door panel off...

POST 2Original post

Most of the window adjustments are made through the bottom of the door. Remove the rubber round push seals and you can get to the adjustment screws.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks pmkazz, I was told I had to take the door panel off for this but I wanted a different opinion. I haven't been able to take a look but from what I understand there are 4 under the door. Do you know which adjustments are made where?

POST 4Original post

No need to remove the door panel. There are four possible adjustments. There are two bolts that adjust the bottom of the regulator inboard or outboard. There are also two small screws to adjust the front and back of the window up or down. They can only be accessed when the window is in the "down" position. I don't remember what size socket is required to adjust them - I think it's 5mm.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great, looks like I'll have to do some experimenting this afternoon! Interesting there's a front and back up/down adjustment. I guess I'll just do my best to adjust them both the same. By inboard/outboard do you mean the adjustment of the "tilt" of the window toward the cabin or street of the sill?
