Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

29 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4Original post

Very nice and clean! The 996 you had as the example in the vid looks flawless... No C4S option though.....

POST 6Original post

Because Porsche loved you from the factory with that rear center reflector :P

POST 7Original post

The only thing I can think is that having two equal sized pipes might look strange with the shape of the opening in our bumpers. Having one pipe slightly smaller might address that though.

POST 12Original post

The proportions are not quite right for me aesthetically.

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 9212683

I agree. It looks to Hot roddish to me and not sports car enough. They look very well built though.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you everyone for the positive reviews. The fabricators informed me that they are going to design the dual-tips to fit the C4S. I should have more information next week as we have been very busy finalizing orders this week. I will keep everyone posted on the build for the C4S and if we can get a minimum of 5 interested, we can introduce an initial group buy price.

POST 15Original post

I have a set of these on my car for quite some time, the build quality is excellent and I was unsure of the aesthetics at first but I really like the look. They have held up great.

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We had a local customer stop by with a C4S for the complete Maxflo Exhaust installation, and the fabricators designed a prototype dual-tip for this application. I will keep everyone informed regarding the availability and completion date of these tips.

POST 18Original post

Quotes source post: 9212683

I thought it was just me.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fabspeed has another 996 C4S in the shop for exhaust upgrades, and the fabricators are finalizing the T304L quad-outlet tips. These are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM tips, and will fit with the OEM mufflers or Fabspeed's Maxflo Mufflers. The Deluxe Quad Tips are available for sale and will take a few days to produce before shipping.

POST 20Original post

I am getting ready to order a set for my C4, but which do you prefer? The chrome or the black chrome. My car is Black with yellow highlights.

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The black chrome will be very subtle with the dark exterior paint. Thus the polished will stand out more. If you want that stealth look, go for the black chrome.

POST 22Original post

Any pics of the car on the ground? I think they look very nice from what I see here...

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry Dennis no pictures on the ground, just installed photos.

POST 24Original post

Is it me or do those tips scream "aftermarket" only because of the way the stock bumper exhaust holes were shaped in the first place. The tips are nice but the fact that it doesn't match the holes(no fault of Fabspeed) looks a bit odd to me.

POST 25Original post

Alpine, to me it seems like you have a problem with ANYTHING Aftermarket! If its not OEM you have issues with it! jmo

POST 26Original post

LOL far from it. Why do you say that? Just because I made a comment in one of the previous postings? I think the Tech Art or Tech Art "Styled" tips would be a better match as it conforms better to the openings. Still aftermarket but better match IMO on the turbo/c4s cars. Also, I've never seen the Techart style tips on other cars making it unique to Porsches. Same thing for Turbo Twist wheels, I always relate them to Porsches. FYI, I think GT3tek's Poly Rear bumper would fit the Fabspeed's better IMO but I don't think it's available for the c4s models. Once again just my $.02. It's not gonna make or break people.

Well you've got to admit MOST things you've seen aftermarket, you really don't like! Now, these 2 pics are not fair because they look toooo good (I think thats why you posted them cause they LOOK good enough to be OEM)! Lol!

POST 28Original post

Quotes source post: 9876453

LOL, don't really need to argue about such trivial topics. I do like some aftermarket stuff but I don't believe in making any insults for items that I don't care for. I think it's a bit rude and I try to refrain from doing so. I don't know how you came across me not liking MOST aftermarket stuff. Can you pull up any specific posts where I say something negative about aftermarket stuff? I posted two aftermarket things that I did like and you say it's not fair because they look too good? LOL. This seems like a conversation that High School or College kids typically have. OK I'm done responding to what you think I like.

Well, maybe it was just MY car (Lol). We're all in the same boat , I guess the ONLY thing that Really Matters is what YOU like for YOUR car, to each his own! Now we're BOTH Done!
