Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What are the little tiny bulbs on the outboard sides of the headlights on my 2002 996? Not the big inboard fog lights, or the lower turn signals, or the main headlights, these are the little tiny ones that I never see on...

POST 2Original post

If you mean the small bulbs located at 3 o'clock on drivers and 9o'clock on pass, those are your parking lights. Both mine were out when I got my car you have to pop out the headlights to replace the bulbs. It sound itimidating but it's really easy. Search you-tube there is a video on there about how to do it

POST 3Original post

I wasn't sure how to change mine so I went by the dealer, they replaced them for parts cost only - $18 each for the bulb. After watching I was sorta embarrassed that it was so easy to change.
