I know normally if rubber products are real clean they are always happy to stick to each other, so I'll clean them up.

Today I noticed under the sunroof in the rear when its tilted open a seal is loose. The seal has a slot to pop or slide down on the lower rim that is also a rubber trim piece. It appears to be designed to push against the metal portion of the sunroof along the rear portion when it is closed. Previously there was some glue applied on one area. Is this part glued in or should it have a good fit not requiring glue? The piece is in good shape just if it isn't normally glued I'll just pick up another that hopefully will snap on better.

The piece had a bend memorized in it from being half off and smashed. It was being a pain to stay on. So maybe if I take it all the way off, bake it in the sun to straighten it, and then possibly try some always stays soft gasket seal goop or glue variety like the last guy tried if it acts tough to stay on. I know normally if rubber products are real clean they are always happy to stick to each other, so I'll clean them up. Then wax the inside lip of the sun roof to keep it from possibly sticking to the rubber and pulling it off. If anyone does look at theirs it might be best to not pull on it if it looks OK. It's a soft rubber to soft rubber notch and free *****'s as happy as ever if it gets a chance. Sorry about the comment of baking it in the sun for the guys still stuck in heck frozen over Thanks for the ideas guys. Your previous experiences are appriciated.

Did you Replace the Seal? My Seal poped off in the Back like yours tonight and had to Push it back in.
