Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Folks, I am in the process of adding door speakers to a car that didn't originally have them. The wires are in the door and go to the connector between the door and door jamb but the body side of the connector has no wires. My questions are how do I get that connecter to separate and where can I find pins for the connector so I can add wires to it? Thanks in advance. If you are looking for stock stuff, you might want to email/phone a parts dismantler. Try http://dcautomotive.com/ or http://www.911pcar.com/ These guys have a neat online catalog: http://www.autoatlanta.com/ to look up part numbers. If you are looking into the stock wiring you might also want to buy or find yourself a set of the factory workshop manuals or a bently which has the wiring diagrams for your vehicle. If I were in your position with a blank canvas and already missing components I might consider running my own (higher grade) wire.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
