Hello.
The PO of my car has installed a k&n system. I was curious enough to switch back to the stock unit (plus it would be less points for AX designation) to see if there was a REAL difference.
I have most of the parts, but I am missing the "snorkle" bit and flange (on the top of the snorkle). I think I have everything else... top and bottom, filter, and rubber boot.
Anyone have just those parts? Seems silly to buy a whole new intake box for just those 2 pieces.

I know you don't want to buy the whole box but I just saw one on ebay yesterday for US$50 and that was with a new filter.

Check with Paseb (that's his nick here). I bought his stock airbox sans the snorkle. He might have it lying around.
And no sweat but I think you've mistaken me for someone else. Never had a 951. This is my 1st P-car.

I just removed my K&N CAI and reinstalled the stock air box. Loved the sound of the K&N but the CEL kept coming on. The stock box sure is quiet & nondescript.
What do you mean by "more points on AX designation"?

There are points assigned (for classification in Autocross [AX]) when you alter the intake. So, as I am sure the placebo or actual effect of 20 hp won't really make me any faster, and I would rather "spend" the points on tires, which do actually make me faster.
