Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
For the Porsche I'll be taking the rear bumper cover off to trouble shoot a right rear rattle which I'm pretty sure is the muffler and getting ready for some general maintenance (oil/filter change, air filter change, etc.).

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Already excited about Memorial Day Weekend!
1) New clear side markers are arriving from Suncoast tomorrow. Goodbye pumpkins!
2) Stopped by NAPA autoparts for a new ignition switch ($10) since mine is toast. I have an extended warranty but it looks like a simple DIY and, well, I just want to do it myself.
3) Detailed and waxed last weekend so when I am done, top will be down and it will actually be under 100 degrees out here this weekend so long, strong drives will be in order.
4) Raise a glass to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.
How about you?
Working! Only for a couple hours though on Sat. then I plan on doing nothing, but sipping suds and driving the P-Car (not one after the other of course).
I may fix my radiator fan resistor. Other than that I may throw some food on the grill and get some MD crabs.
I do miss being in Myrtle Beach during this weekend.
30th high school reunion, with the boy scouts putting up flags(480 casket size) at a memorial cemetery Sunday morning and take them down Sunday evening then repeating on Monday. Memorial day parade Monday. The rest of the weekend relaxing.
My Porsche will be rolling over the 100,000 mile mark, so I will be treating it ( & myself) to a return trip up Hwy 1 to the central coast of CA.

Hopefully getting out to HPR this weekend (Friday-Monday if you can believe that). I had one of my other drivers fly down to AST with my shocks. He successfully un-fubared them. Just wait til you all see the pictures.... The bumpers are getting painted fluorescent red, the wheels are now painted gold (I just couldn't stand that god-awful red one more minute), the accu-s*** is removed from the car......
Show ends on Saturday at 4AM so should be home, plus I have some yard work and stuff around the house I want to get done before the walk and while the kid is on an over adventure with the grandparents.
Hey Pete, happy B-day, believe me, it is all downhill from there.....enjoy!
As for me, the wife will be in NYC on Saturday coming back late Sunday......I will be doing general household stuff, then proolly washing and waxing the truck and the baby.....play with the "kids", chill by the pool, enjoy a good cigar or three....then on Monday, family arrives.........overall pretty good, even though I am not headed to the track.
Heading to the lake house for some relaxing time on the lake. The car just got new rear tires and she is riding really nice. Just turned 50k
Thanks to the men and women in the armed forces for making this a great place to live
Drive one German vehicle (996) on back roads to the hangar.
Extract a second German vehicle (RF5B) and "drive" it around, fishing for thermals or taking cross country trips. I've particularly enjoyed flying it open cockpit this year.
Rinse & repeat as much as the weather will allow.
1. Plan to get a coat of wax on the car, and maybe polish out a few minor swirl/scratches on the rear bumper.
2. Brewing a batch of beer (to be ready for the 4th of July)
3. Hanging at the pool.
I'll be there too!
I'll probably wash the Cayenne on Sunday afternoon and install the Summer tires. I think we're done with snow - although we did have some last week!
Fly fishing on Monday on the Colorado river.
I'm celebrating my 58th birthday on Saturday by taking a trip about 2 hours to the East of me to check out the antique car show at Volo Museum.
Sunday will be watching races and puttering around the place. Likely take a ride on the Harley for a while in the afternoon.
Monday will be boating on the Rock river.
You all be safe in whatever you do!
For the Porsche I'll be taking the rear bumper cover off to trouble shoot a right rear rattle which I'm pretty sure is the muffler and getting ready for some general maintenance (oil/filter change, air filter change, etc.). I should be able to get out for a nice long drive as well.
Otherwise painting the shed and relaxing as much as possible.
Cheers, Karl
I plan to visit Volo sometime in June/ July. I heard it an amazing place
This weekend gonna hang with the inlaws. I am one of the rare ones that have a good relationship with them !!
Volo is worth seeing.
Go to the website and watch for some sort of special event that you'd like to see. That makes it that much more interesting.
Plan for most of the day.

Gonna wash the 996, take a drive. Watch Practise, Qual and the race of Monoco GP. Then the 500 on Sunday. BBQing some ribs on my smoker. And Relaaaaaax.
Thanks for the Bday wishes Steve and Scott! I feel 12 when I drive the Pcar! I know we all feel the same way! The temps at the 500 will be in the 90's.....good scenery awaits. Hope to get some good pics. Carb day is tomorrow with Skynard as the entertainment.
I hope to see you there. This is probably my last trip for a while with the RMR PCA - I'll be headin' to TX early June. It's been a sweet ride out here in the best place in the USA. Now, I just have to figure out how to get back.
Clear side markers in...took 5 minutes. Ignition switch, well I am going to punt and have my Indy do it after all. Could not get to the screws + I am major claustrophobic and I did not like being under that footwell. Gotta know your limitations! Time to start drinking.
The PCA RMR drive to Colorado Springs was fun today. Unfortunately, there was lots of traffic due to the holiday weekend drivers. There's also quite a haze in the sky today in Colorado, mostly from smoke blowing in from the New Mexico fires. We started out on the interstate, and then turned off onto some back roads. My wife took this shot out the window right when we got onto I-25 south. It was fun because we had Porsches across three lanes, and we were certainly getting lots of attention in traffic. There were some pretty unique cars in the crowd today, including a 997 GT2 RS, a 997 GT3 RS and a Cayman R.
