I purchased a pair of Focal 100 CA1, not sure what the best way to mount the is. Should I reuse the stock grill, and somehow mount the speaker to it? or should i pop the old speaker out of it's cage and reuse that in the original grill? Just wondering how you've all done it. Cheers

I just bought some Focal 100KRS, basically Im going to reuse the stock grill, and the cage, by cutting the old speaker out and mounting the cage ring thats left to the speaker and screw it back in.

I ordered a couple of new factory speakers last fall when I replaced mine. While there are a number of articles here and Renntech, I wasn't up for trying something new. So I hope both of you will document how you accomplish this so those of us less mechanically inclined can have a new DIY to follow.
