Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I remember from the kit I used for my old '86 (H4) that it had both high and low beams in the same bulb.

I am very much aware of all the concerns of using a cheap Xenon kit with the halogen assembly, but I do have some questions regarding them..

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, once again I'm here with a question on a touchy topic - HID kits. I am very much aware of all the concerns of using a cheap Xenon kit with the halogen assembly, but I do have some questions regarding them.. I remember from the kit I used for my old '86 (H4) that it had both high and low beams in the same bulb. I read somewhere that this is something exclusive to H4 lamps. Is this true? Do we have H7 kits that have both high and low beams? I don't see any info regarding this on the PelicanParts catalogue for the Stealth HID kits. Amongst the posts I read from our forum here, there was one thread that talked about a DIY Projector Retrofit, but I am not sure if I want to do that, for my own reasons. Litronics sets are still expensive on ebay for what they are (at least out of my budget for headlamps) Thanks Shyam
