Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Ive done the Pedro IMS oil feed IMS swap, coilovers and replaced all the suspension links with adjustable spherical links, put in a race clutch kit and some GT3 seats which I had recovered to match the interior.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A couple years ago my Boxster made the transition to a dedicated time trial car so I havent anything fun to drive on the street. I finally solved that problem and a couple of months ago I picked up a 2003 C2 and love it! I bought it stock and told myself Id keep it that way and have completely failed.... Ive done the Pedro IMS oil feed IMS swap, coilovers and replaced all the suspension links with adjustable spherical links, put in a race clutch kit and some GT3 seats which I had recovered to match the interior.

Love the OZ wheels, did you feel any significant performance increase with the reduced unsprung weight?, they are about 10 lbs lighter at each corner compared to solid spoke Turbo Twists.

POST 12Original post

Nice and congrats! Love what you've done to it so far.

POST 13Original post

I have a 2001 C4 so you may see me somewhere around Boulevard and Monument with a happy almost-3 year old yelling at me to go fast around the corners

POST 15Original post

Looks sharp! What size an offsets did you get on the OZs. Looking to get some

I felt a difference when going to lighter wheels (sm-10). Mild suspension and wheel upgrades transforms these cars.

POST 19Original post

Congratulations That is a great looking car -David

POST 22Original post

If you don't mind sharing...where did you get those seats and how much? Are they mechanical seats with no electrics?

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the kind words! To answer your questions it has 80,000 miles, is sitting on Ksport coilovers and I unfortunately don't know the OZ offset. They are made for a 997 and the rears are 12"s wide but they fit no problem. Even with the 315 Hoosiers that it has on it right now I'm really not sure about any performance increase, the car was stock for about 100 miles. The seats are actually eBay knockoff GT3 seats. I've had them for 7 years and they still look brand new. The centers come out so I bought some vintage houndstooth for cheap and had them recovered. I can't say enough good things about the seats, they are incredibly supportive and feel like sitting in a hammock. They are absolutely the most comfortable seats I've been in believe it or not, but they are narrow. @Gingerman what color is your 4S? I wonder if I've seen you around, are you active in the local Porsche community?

Theyre GT3 knockoffs from eBay. Love them! And yes all mechanical.

POST 25Original post

Cool seats. I have a grey on grey on grey on grey on grey..... interior. I need to break up the color. Those look sharp.

POST 28Original post

Love the houndstooth on the seats. Excellent choice.

A regular 4, not S. Officially the color is PTS palladio metallic. Just really getting to know it myself so not really active in anything yet but would like to start meeting up this fall. Also in the middle of a 912e restoration for my dad. I bought the c4 as a daily, alternated with a b6 s4 avant, but I may get it on a track next year. Love the lightness vs the s4 but couldnt give up awd. See you around!
