Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just wondering if the IMS Guardian was available, would it have saved you some cheddar on the repair with it's early warning system ?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My engine is finally fixed! It is running really nice. I got all the updates done also. I am taking it pretty easy for now...
The hard top came off on Saturday. It is in dire need of a good bath.
I need to remove the winter tires and wheels and switch to summer. I think I put about 200 miles on my new wheels and tires this winter (actually fall) before the crap out....
My head gasket failed and I mixed my oil and coolant. It hydro-locked and I lost two cylinder walls. Was very fast. The best thing I did was pull it over pretty quickly and shut off the engine.
Rebuilt with all updates. It ran me about 10.5K plus shipping. Add to that a new clutch and all the work my mechanic did and it cam in about 15.4K
Thanks Tom!
And how on the $...I just bought the thing in October and bang in December......That exhaust system and the three spoke steering wheel I was thinking about are off the table for now.
I am just happy to get back into my car!
Hi Lendy,
I used a local mechanic in Central PA. He dropped my engine and did the evalutaion on it. He set up all the arrangements and shipped it to CA to a motor shop he has done this before with to have the rebuild done. I will have to look at my warranty to see what shop actually did the work. I will try to remember and then post it here. It took a long time but I have been more than pleased with the performance. It actually feels like it is gettting a little stronger with a few miles on it.
