Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It works really well but its also easy to get carried away and fill too much at one time.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Thanks for sharing... I have always used a toothpick but i am now going to give this a try....

POST 3Original post

Ive used it. It works really well but its also easy to get carried away and fill too much at one time. Also be sure to not let any get on the edges of remaining paint that surround the chip.

POST 4Original post

I was too chicken to do it myself. I even ordered a Dr. Color Chip kit. But took to Porsche dealer to repair. They did a perfect job, but took 3 weeks. You Tube

I just bought this with Amazon Prime for $7.50. Thanks for the heads up. I will be using it on the 955.

POST 6Original post

I have a couple of these that I got after watching the same video. They work, but paint consistency is key. I had to figure the right amount of thinning through trial and error.

POST 7Original post

I was wondering how this compares to something like the Dr. Colorchip system, where you put the paint down and then wipe to level and blend it. Maybe some kind of combination of both methods would be ideal.

POST 8Original post

Ive never tried Dr. Colorchip myself, but based on videos it looks easier to me.
