Now that I have the IMS Solution, I'll be buying spin-on filters for my 996. I ran across this video this morning and IMO it's some good info: The worst oil filter EVER! I've been paying a mechanic to change the oil in my cars for quite a few years, but since I bought the 996, I'll be changing the oil in it. Interesting that I remember my dad swore by Wix filters back in the day.

I see to use Fram filters on my Mustang until I cut one open earlier this year. It didn’t look nearly as well built as my Napa Gold filters. Ive cut up so many new and used filters since then looking for quality filters.
