Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

So I removed the light housing, checked/swapped bulbs, still didn't work.
Leading evidence: 'Check /swapped bulbs, still didn't work' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check /swapped bulbs, still didn't work' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Then I swapped the entire light assembly from the drivers side and it didn't work and the left side worked on the drivers.

Again, I swapped the whole light assembly to the other side and they all worked fine on the drivers side.

Suggestion
Bulb was good - so next I googled the wiring diagram and check the connector with a multimeter to see if voltage was coming to the assembly - yes it was.
Combined work: Replace bulbs, still didn't work + Replace entire light assembly

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So my rear passenger lights are out. So I removed the light housing, checked/swapped bulbs, still didn't work. Then I swapped the entire light assembly from the drivers side and it didn't work and the left side worked on the drivers. What could cause just one side of the tail lighting to fail?
Was bulb good ?
WHat about the side marker, indicator, reverse light ?
I had issue with just the indicator on my front light. Bulb was good - so next I googled the wiring diagram and check the connector with a multimeter to see if voltage was coming to the assembly - yes it was.
Turned out mine was a bad socket for the bulb. The metal contact spring strip was no longer making good contact - so I bent it out a bit and now works fine.
I don't have the diagram handy right now for the rears - but I would check if you get voltage at the socket - and then work back or forwards from there.....
The bulbs are fine, fuses are fine. When I swap the WHOLE light assemblies from side to side the drivers side still works and the passengers is still out so it's something before the light assembly besides fuses.
Nothing works on the rear passenger side. Again, I swapped the whole light assembly to the other side and they all worked fine on the drivers side. The opposite was true, the 'working' drivers side rear light assembly stopped working when I plugged it into the passengers side.
Update: Past the wiring rubber seal to the body I found several wires that were broken..... more specifically they were chewed up and section were eaten away. You could see the little mice bite marks in the plastic wire wrapping, the little bastards!
