Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So I Just bought a 2001 996 TT, I noticed that the alarm was going off only when the windows were down and the sunroof was open. I remember that i have a pine tree air freshner on my rear view mirror, are those little black things near the lights movement sensors (Infra-red Guard?) and thats why the alarm was going off? Or is it something else?

POST 2Original post

pretty much yes. if you use the alarm, make sure nothing can move on the inside of the car.

POST 4Original post

Interior motion sensors can be disabled if required:
