Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Is the dealership's goal to educate people on what the repair entails and why they should use your dealership to do that repair?
Leading evidence: 'Repair entails and why they should' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). I would think the dealership would want to show all that was involved in changing those bulbs so that the client understands the 3 hours of labor that's going to be charged.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys, I'm preparing to make a video series for my dealership from a technicians perspective. I was just curious if there were any jobs or services that you guys would want to watch see how they're done. Any and all input is welcome. Here is a VERY basic example of what you can expect.
https://gopro.com/v/7Ra569ODaBBN
Here I'm calibrating the LCA on a 15' base Cayenne. In the official videos you can expect more detail and explanation.
Some must haves:
1. Proper spatula install
2. How to rebuild IMS with parts around house
3. Cell phone storage options
4. Replacing deer skin headliner
5. How to add gt3 labels to non gt3 996
6. How to apply tape to cover hole in vert top
Kind of depends on what the goal is. Is the dealership's goal to educate people on what the repair entails and why they should use your dealership to do that repair? Or is it the point of the videos to help someone who wants to do some of their own work DIY?
I can't imagine why a dealership would want to show people how to do the work themselves and therefore lose business. So I will assume it is the first reason: to educate people on what the dealership will be doing to their car while it is in for that specific service. If that is the case, then you should steer clear of those easy things for the DIYer, like brake pads and rotors. You would want to cover those services that rely on special tools and diagnostic testing with a Durametric.
I would start with an IMS bearing and RMS replacement. Doesn't need to be a step-by-step video like a "how to" video you see on Youtube. But, you'd want to show a small snippet of each step of the process. An example, on my son's 2004 BMW X5, he has a headlight burnt out. No big deal, right? I found a set of replacement headlight bulbs online and went to check to see if there is anything special to do in the replacement process and . . . crap! He's got the facelift model with headlight washers. Guess what? That requires removing the front bumper cover just to swap a headlight bulb. I would think the dealership would want to show all that was involved in changing those bulbs so that the client understands the 3 hours of labor that's going to be charged. Otherwise, the customer is going to be a little pissed and feeling ripped off.
Yes you are correct kcattorney. The videos will show customers/Porsche admirers what's involved in various repairs, big and small. As much as I would love to do DIY, my dealership probably won't let me do that. I am considering starting my own channel featuring DIY type content (I own an 06 Cayman S)
Thank you for your input
Sure. BTW, I think that's a great idea to do. So many people have absolutely no idea of the work that you have to do in order to get a very simple sounding job done sometimes.
Great idea
Few I'd like to see:
- gearbox removal
- Engine drop
- clutch master + slave cylinder replacement
- clutch + brake bleed
- coolant drain + refill
Good suggestions guys. I only wish I had started this sooner! I would've had everything youre asking and then some. Keep em coming. Thank you for your input

You're welcome to subscribe so you know when the first video hits. Videos will start to flow in the coming weeks
Filming 996 C4S condenser and radiator replacement, brake fluid flush, air filter replacement, pollen filter replacement, wiper blade attack angle adjustment and much more today. First video has been submitted for approval, I'll let you guys know when it goes live.

Great video Ryan the production quality was excellent.
As for the C4S video will it be more of a time lapse demonstration than a a step by step Bentley manual type video?
It will be something in between. I want to show everyone what is involved with various repairs and services without going TOO in depth like a DIY channel. But I will include interesting facts/tips during the video. My goal is to educate and entertain. Some videos may be more detailed than others depending on the given task.
I would very much enjoy starting my own DIY channel in the future. Where I can provide all The technical info you could ask for.
Thank you for your input bud!
Hey guys looking for some more input. So I submitted a teaser video and it's about 2.5mins long. I'm being told that is too long by a few of my co workers....I'm just curious how long is too long for you guys. From my point of view it shouldn't matter how long it is as long as I'm entertaining/engaging you guys in the content. Because I know I get bored with videos if there isn't some kind of hook or something interesting that keeps me wanting more. And that's what I'm going to put into these videos. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks
