Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My nearly 20 year-old cab has had many miles and time in the sun and the leather seats are splitting. What's the best looking cover to put over the leather (besides leather)? Back in the day we used sheepskin but that looks a little pimp these days. I know the answers to why wouldn't you get a professional recover with leather, why would you do something like that to a Porsche and why don't you just get the leather repaired. Thanks in advance.

POST 4Original post

A while back when I was looking at transaxle porsches I noticed "seat chaps" seem to be very popular with the 944/968 crowd. Kinda like these: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...eat-chaps.html except the 993 folk don't seem to like them No idea if you can get them for our cars though.

+1 for Wet Okele Seat covers. I had a set I moved through my 944S2 to my 993's. If they would fit my C4S they would be there. You have a choice of colors and patterns and they may make a set that includes the back seats - check their website.
