Suggestion

Seriously, if it doesn't say "Proctologist Use Only" on the side, then it could be related to the lumbar support.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So while driving my lumbar support keeps inflating. It also won't deflate while driving. If i turn off the car I can hear the pump engage. When it stops engaging I can deflate the bag, but if I turn on the key and drive it starts to inflate again. Can't seem to find anyone with the same problem any help would be appreciated.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I disconnected the battery overnight, we'll see If it tries to ... uncomfort me .. today after work.

POST 6Original post

Look on the bright side, there was a guy here in the forum that when driving, his seat would recline all the way back. hahahaha... can you imagine the strange looks you'd get from other drivers? Anyway, this is nothing, just enjoy it. Some people would pay a pretty penny to have the lower backs rubbed while driving. ha!

POST 7Original post

I think if it stays inflated for more than 4 hours, you are supposed to call your doctor.

Nice! Well played.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Haha cheeky rennlisters .. found this hose ... gonna assume it's related

POST 10Original post

Can the lumbar setting be stored with the seat memory feature? If the pump is running without user input I'd start with the switch. Remove it and use a multimeter to figure out which posts are which. If there is a short in the switch a connection that should be normally open will be closed.

Ok Shake, just because you walk around a parking lot and find some weird looking hose doesn't mean it associated with your Porsche. ha! Put that thang down young man, that could be drug paraphernalia! Seriously, if it doesn't say "Proctologist Use Only" on the side, then it could be related to the lumbar support.

Hope this helps.... (I think I see your recently discovered part!)
