Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I noticed that the speedo lights become half lighted(From 100mph down) as it gets darker. When I started out at dusk, the whole dial was lit. I noticed it seemed to automatically switch to a different setting as it got darker. Only the speedo side does it. I hit dash and front of gauge and nothing changes so bulb isn't loose. Manual states sensor will automatically set to ambient lighting. Is this normal on 03 996 C4S. Im new to the Porsche world.

POST 2Original post

Same thing in my 99 C2. I wouldn't worry about it.
