Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The bulb that come out looked good and I put a new bulb in, so faulty bulb has been ruled out

POST 6Original post

Yep, there is a panel board behind the headlight switch that goes bad.

POST 7Original post

There is a brown ground wire inside the frunk, behind the carpet. Mine was loose. Check that before you go to the trouble of replacing the headlight switch. I didn't.

POST 8Original post

If the faulty headlight has been removed and replaced it may have been forced back into place and bent one of the connector pins over. That's what happened to mine. I straightened or 'stood up' the bent over pin via long nose pliers and solved the problem.
