Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

But it's not on the C4S! The Cayenne is actually beginning to "sweat" a little bit of oil from the RMS area. Nothing serious yet - no drips on the garage floor. My mechanic noticed it when that vehicle was in for maintenance. It looks like I'll be getting the RMS replaced on the Cayenne too...

POST 4Original post

What are ya kiddin' me? Now there are leaky peppa's? Say it ain't so...... this "issue" seems to be bit ridiculous..... an embarrassment (IMHO) for a German Engineering company ....a company that makes fantastic race cars, that perform under extremely hard/stressful conditions, for extended periods of time.......but hey, their street cars, well, the public will just accept that they might leak a little........ridiculous........

POST 5Original post

Honestly, the newer PTFE RMS is freakin awesome compared to the old one. Bone dry on my 996 after 27k miles, and then again after 8k miles. I kid you not!

POST 6Original post

NOOO!!!! And I thought I was done (after my coolant pipes and cardan shaft were replaced)??? Darn it
