Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would like to add wheel spacers to my 40 th anniversary 996. I am using the stock wheels and my goal is to get the wheels flush with the rim of the wheel well. I am looking at 7 mm for the front and 15 mm for the rear. Please let me know your thoughts and if you have added spacers. Thx

POST 2Original post

I have a '99 and I added 15mm in the front and 22mm in the rear. They are still inside the body but the car looks a thousand times more aggressive.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks but it appears that you have a C4S. The WB should allow for thicker spacers depending upon your wheels. I would love to hear from 40 th anniversary owners who have done this. Thx

POST 4Original post

40th anniversary has same dimensions as c2. 10 mm or 15 mm in front 17 mm in back. I am effectively running 17 front and 19 back with my aftermarket wheels.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks very much for the reply. Very helpful Are your tires flush with the wheel well with the 10-15mm in the front and 17 mm in the back? From your pic, it looks great. I want to make sure that the wheel does not extend too far.
