So I'm taking the bumper cover off (I saw the YouTube video) but I'm not sure how difficult it is to remove and replace the radiator.

My passenger side radiator is leaking. I ordered a new one. I am also replacing the bumper covert to a stock one, that arrives tomorrow. So I'm taking the bumper cover off (I saw the YouTube video) but I'm not sure how difficult it is to remove and replace the radiator. Any suggestions or thoughts?

hi, so i have not performed a radiator replacement but will offer support for diy. there is a lot of information here, just ask. if you have any sort of repair experience i would give it a try. please report on front bumper cover removal for my future reference. take your time.

I haven't changed a radiator but I did remove the front bumper, removed the ducts and loosened the radiators to clean them - on a scale on 1-10 (1 being easiest) I would call it a 1.5. Very easy - you will be surprised how much junk/dirt/leaves are in there. I would guess your hardest part is draining the fluid without making a mess. best of luck.

It's a fairly easy job, especially once you have the front bumper off. The most difficult part is getting the old hoses off the radiator fitting. They really get stuck on! The best method I've found for removing them is to slide a thin metal spatula/screwdriver/feeler gauge between the hose and the plastic radiator. Then work it around the circumference to break the bond. Then try to twist the hose until it rotates freely. Pulling before can twist it just results in torn hoses. Look up the DIY on the third radiator install for tips. Shawn

I have searched and searched and can't find anything. I searched radiator removal, I never searched radiator replacement.
