Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I took left front wheel off to work on windshield washer inop. and also to paint rotor hat. When I turn rotor I have to use 2 hands and a lot of force. Is that OK? Do I have bad wheel bearing or did someone tighten the big bearing nut too tight? Car has almost 62 K miles, I cannot hear any bearing noise at any speed. Car drives straight and does not pull during braking. I ordered new WW pump. The old one spins but not much force behind water when it exits pump. thanks

POST 2Original post

Alot of times a wheel bearing will have some play in it or talk to you when you are turning. It could also be the brake pads potentially. I would start taking it apart piece by piece and checking it as you go if your are comfortable doing so. The front bearing is pretty easy to get to.
