Have anyone here enabled the Cruise Control and OBC using the Durametric Pro cable? I have done my retrofit hardware wise but haven't done the coding yet. If there is someone around the Los Angeles area who has a Durmetric Pro who can help me enable it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot

You don't need the pro to enable the OBC - they added the "Enable OBC" function to the enthusiast version as well. I have enabled the OBC but I haven't done the work to the cluster yet...but now that I have a backlight on the blink (heh), that will get done sooner than later.

Too bad the enthusiast version doesn't do cruise control coding. It took me 1 day and a half working slowly and carefully to do the cruise + OBC plus replacing 1 broken stems inside the dash. I actually replaced both just for the sake of it. One thing for sure, it's much easier once you have done it once before. Very time consuming.

Ah, I didn't realize there was a separate module for cruise - that sucks. Good luck tracking down the Durametric Pro. I'm going the lazy route and adding a couple of switches rather than dealing with the stalk transplant. Is running additional wiring to the DME necessary for the 996 retrofit as it is with the 986? That DIY looked like an absolute b*tch when I read it.

If any of you San Diego folks have a Durametric Pro, I might be able to ferry it up to Shred - I'll be heading north a couple of times over the next two weekends. I have the software...just need the cable.
