Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

LSo in an effort to get everything working on my 2000c2 im trying to get the headlights correct. One of the issues when i got the car was thst the po spun off the track and pushed up the corner of the frunk which pushed the headlight and fender up a little. After replacing plasic parts and massaging the fender i got it looking pretty good. I fixed the manual level on the headlight tonight as the reflector popped free from the ball sockets. I think i do need one of the female ball sockets because it looks like some of it was missing. Its the part that the stepper motor snaps into. If anyone can find a decent drawing of the assembly that shows the part i would appreciate it. Not sure if the piece is availble seperately.
getting to the auto level part. The lights do not cycle when i turn them on or manually swing the alwr sensor arm. Going through my Bentley it shows the alwr sensor off the lca drivers front. I tested it and its getting the 5v input and 1-5v range on the output when u manually swing the arm. It also show fuse b10 feeds the control unit ahvac, the unit that proccess the signal, and it was good. My issue is i cant locate the ahvac control unit in the car because bentley doent show it. Also it doesnt show any testing procedure for it do if anyone has a diagnostic for it thst would be great. Im wondering if the modual is dead but i would like to test it out first.
pic of headlight, piece i need is the white part blocked by the stepper motor, lower right. U can see the top of it if u zoom in, its retained by a small torx screw.
Bump for anyone that has any thoughts on this.
i did find the rear sensor so hopefully i can test that today and Bentley does have a vague refference pic for the control modual. It looks like its either behind the air bag or the center stack. I may have to find someone with a good enough scanner to see if there r and codes related to my issue before i start tearing the dash apart.
Also anyone with a decent 3d printer want to re-make the broken ball socket piece. I cant seem to find it on any drawings.
