After doing some research I found that there are electronic simulators that either connect to the O2 sensor and smooth out the signal, or completely replace the O2 sensor.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've gone through the trouble gutting my cats on my 2003 C4s because the cats started rattling. I'm looking for someone that has installed the extenders/adaplters on hollow cats. There isn't much room, I was wondering which adapters work the best in the limited space when retaining the cats. thanks Glenn

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After doing some research I found that there are electronic simulators that either connect to the O2 sensor and smooth out the signal, or completely replace the O2 sensor. Does anybody have any experience with these? Thanks Glenn

POST 3Original post

I think you need to be mindful of the pre vs post cat O2 sensors and what they are telling the DME. I found this setup from Fabspeed and you might want to contact them about what is the best setup - https://www.fabspeed.com/universal-9...ic-converters/
