Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
couldn't determine if it was the result of an accident, but the car seemed ok
Leading evidence: 'result of an accident' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'result of an accident' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). Have been reading other threads where others are asking if 19" x 11" with your off-set (50-55) will work on a 996 NB.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Great photos and those new wheels and tires look great, any rubbing issues on rears? Have been reading other threads where others are asking if 19" x 11" with your off-set (50-55) will work on a 996 NB.
Hope the temps go down, my wife and I are flying over to Vegas this Tuesday and staying till Sunday for the Scholastic Trap and Skeet US Open Championships at the Clark County Shooting Complex. Will be out in the sun all and every day. Staying at the Tahiti Village so will be cooling off on the lazy river with a cocktail (or 2,3,4) in the afternoons.
Thanks! I love them and am super happy. No rubbing at all! Disclaimer though, I haven't driven it much for various reasons. According to the forecast, no real relief in sight. We are headed to Mt. Charleston today to get some relief. I think it is in the upper 70's to low 80's there today.
dumping a body ?
I lived in that godforsaken place in the early '80's
102 @ midnight, I made plans to get out of there in the next year
maybe I'm weird, but I'll take some cold and snow over never ending blue skies
and triple digit temperatures...I'm not a salamander
I will forever miss the expansive view of the mountains though
Car still treating you well HawkFan ?
I know you went thru a bit to sort it, it appears to have turned out well !!
Hey man, only dumping the bodies that fit in the frunk!
Yeah I have been here for 3 years now and I am never going back to Seattle. 30 years of wet, dark, cold, is enough for me. Even in the summer in Seattle you have a couple nice months but then when the sun goes down it's still 50 degrees! I will take a few miserable months here for 9 beautiful months!
The car is great! I took the front bumper off and definitely been in an accident prior to my ownership. Nothing still damaged, just overspray and what not. Only issue is the interior lights, frunk light, and engine lid light, does not come on without the key in the on position. Not worth it to take to a dealer to sort it out. Stereo retains its power and settings now and all is great!
No thank you, everytime I think about leaving Hawaii (it has it's isues) I think about the consistant sunny warm weather...70's to 87* year round! And the ocean is never more than 15 minutes away
I suspected and with the help of a photo from KC was pretty sure that the front of the car had been painted / refreshed (the naked wing bolts)
couldn't determine if it was the result of an accident, but the car seemed ok
glad you're enjoying it !!
Two years ago I left Dana Point, CA to move here because of taxes and better cost of living conditions. But right now.. Ugh.. its soooo hot!! Dry or not....
^^^
That would mean the sun forgot to come up!! WE"RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!
...wait, that would be true whether the sun came up or not...
...besides that would be good out there as it might cool down...a little...
