I don't have access to software to read the codes nor do i know how to reset it. I will add this, i did start and run the car for without an airbag. That is when the light came on, pretty obvious why. I thought once i put it all back together it would clear on its own. Does it need to be reset manually?

Yes, it will need to be reset. Can (possibly) be done with Durametric or similar software, or at a dealer. FYI, you can get bluetooth code readers for very little $. They will allow you to read codes and reset some minor errors (but not the airbag).

Yes, you will need a Durametric to reset it. It will come on if the battery is connected and you disconnected the airbag. There are a ton of people local to you that have one, if you are a member of the Porsche club, somebody has one that can reset it for you, will take about 60 seconds start to finish.
