Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Still can't complain as it was the original clutch.
Leading evidence: 'original clutch' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'original clutch' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

problem solved, the pressure plate gave out, too bad as the friction disc had at least a few more years on it.
So, there I was pulling onto the highway as I depress the clutch the pedal goes to the floor with little resistance at all. Making my way off the highway other than clutch feel downshifts are still smooth as I come to the red on the off ramp. N to 1st not so much, required pressure to get into 1st. Tried pumping the the pedal and it feels a bit firmer but that could just be perceived. Fluid level is still well above clutch intake, and no visible leaks above the pedal.
I'll start with a bleed but the way it happened suddenly I'm guessing something gave out.
Any thoughts??
Master cylinder, slave cylinder or something internal.
Oh yea, 103Kms motor and trans still together from the factory
If you want to feel like you are doing something and it is within your abilities, a brake/clutch fluid flush/bleed is ok.
I hope it helps but I don't hold much hope.
Probably as you said: "Master cylinder, slave cylinder or something internal."
Unless the auto Gods smile favorably upon you and the fluid flush/bleed works you (or a tech) is going to have to get his hands dirty.
That's what I figured, just trying to narrow down internal or external. External for me is DIY, internal I'm lacking the tools, work space and patience for
I dealt with a headache with another vehicle of mine recently with a bad clutch, that we just purchased too. The clutch pedal engagement got a bit ridiculous and when driving it began hard to even shift into some gears at time. Decided to change it out and yep, definitely was time for a clutch. Anyways, if you do determine it's time for a new clutch we have some pretty awesome clutch kits
here
that you can check out. I'm excited about these kits as they pretty much include all that you'll need for the job in one complete kit. Good luck with it all!
