I'll be selling my "mint" one over there if I don't get a refund as the 993 upgrade requires a faceplate change by Becker to match the 993 lighting.

My understanding is that involves changing the faceplate.

They have to send it to Becker anyway for a re-work and faceplate change so it'd be a good deal for someone if priced right.

If you use USPS Priority Mail they have a box that will fit perfectly and it'll have a fixed cost for shipping in the CONUS around $14.00 IIRC.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I saw one sell on EBay for 300 shipped without the OEM manuals that come with it. I have the OEM manuals, and the code card. It is in perfect condition. Curious on what I should offer it for. I know shipping might cost me a bit extra for the weight, but just without shipping cost, what is a fair price? My car just hit 60K miles. Came out of my 2000 996.
Made by Becker, part number is: 996.645.126.00
Thanks all.
And I was just quoting the EBay price as a reference...
There was one sold here recently that was quoted as mint and the selling price was $230 shipped. However, that was one listed in MINT condition that turned out to not be when the buyer got it.
You should not have any problem selling at the same price quickly as long as you post pics and it is clearly described, properly.

I have seen them on Ebay for $250 ~
I bought mine last year from a PCA member in another forum at lower price. It was in "ok" condition but not mint... but I expected that. Still works totally fine and looks great on the car.
I would consider selling mine, but it is beginning to show the occasional "Predator" characters on the screen. It may just need a new faceplate, but I'm not sure. I wouldn't feel good about it...
That's why you wanna sell it on the 993 forum with full disclosure. They have to send it to Becker anyway for a re-work and faceplate change so it'd be a good deal for someone if priced right. When they do this for the 993 it gives iPod capabilities.
I've actually got the iPod adapter cable from Becker. Do they have to send it to Becker so it will fit in a 993, or would they only have to send it in if it needs a new face plate?
The 993 interior lighting is a different color so they send it in to have the radio lighting switched to match. My understanding is that involves changing the faceplate. Other than that it is a straight hook up with matching plugs and fitment. Having the iPod cable would be a plus for selling.
Thanks guys, mine looks pretty much perfect condition to me. I figure I can sell it for $250 shipped with the radio manual and code key card. Something tells me to keep it.....but I have too many car parts around. Might put it up on Ebay.
Resale value is a big deal for me, and a stock radio is *always* something I look for in a car. Not that there's anything wrong with a well-done aftermarket system (especially if it doesn't cut into the car's wiring), but being able to say the car is "stock" rings nicely in most buyers' ears.
220's aren't tough radios to find, and if you're planning to keep the car then it's a moot point ...
Cheers,

Decided to sell it. It is up for sale, $250 plus actual shipping with the OEM stereo manual and code card that was never opened. Shipping charge would be with insured shipping and Priority Mail, USPS..delivery confirmation.
PM me for pics of the manual, code card, and stereo. I can put my user name in the pic if requested.
relinuca showed interest but never answered my PM.
